So as i understand, 24PA retains the individual 24 frames more accurately, for Film conversion. if you shoot in 24PA, then creat a 24p native output Mpeg (i think its possible i could be wrong) to DVD architect, then create a 24p native DVD, will the final image be clearer? as opposed to putting a standard 24p to a 24P native DVD? cause i know the 2:3 pulldown degrades the frames somewhat. so logically using the cleaner 24PA should result in cleaner images right? or does it not matter?

It matters if you're watching it on a progressive-scan TV.

If you're not, then probably not so much. You'll save disc space, though.

oh ok. i guess 24 elements a second is smaller than 60, makes sense. thanks.
