I got a free copy of DVD Studio Pro 2, but have to buy a burner. Does SP2 accept 24p, if on a 29.97 timeline from FCP4?

Michael, it should tell you on the back of the box or in the manual if it supports 24p. I wish I could help you out but I'm a PC guy. :(

Just saw this now, hope you check this thread again.

I'm using DVDSP2 to make Dvd's for my feature I shot in 24padvanced.

My guess is that it isn't making it progressive, but with my project in a 23.98 timeline, I export to compressor, and pick one of the .m2v presets, and it compresses it into an m2v no problem, throw it onto the track and build/format and it works just fine. (I have no idea if it reads it as progressive - probably not, but it works great and looks just like it did on the timeline.)
