those of you who write scripts for these fests.. whats normally the page number for keeping it 6 minutes. I'm already at page 5 and I'm not close to being done..

Standard rule is 1 page = 1 minute. If it's a page with a lot of action on it, it'll be more than a minute.

I'd recommend finishing the first draft without worrying too much about your number of pages, and then start cutting down in your following drafts.

I usually aim at writing a 4 page script to end up with a 6 minute short.

I've always been over and had to cut/shorten scenes when I've written 6 page scripts for a 6 minute film.

I just finished mine. Its just barely 6 pages. I think it will wind up being shorter than that though. but I've left room to cut some stuff if need be.

Depends on how much editing you want to do later. A 4 page dramatic script will be 6 minutes comfortably.

I'm trying to teach myself economy, so I went for something where the action is the story. Got it in 2 pages, but I anticipate a 4 minute final film. But maybe 3.
