Thanks for the link John! Jim Jarmusch in one of my favorite filmmakers, and I'm going to flip out if none of the theaters in this podunk little state (VT) shows this film!
Anybody here familiar with the "Fishing With John" show that John Lurie did? It's hillarious, especially the one where Tom Waits keeps a red snapper down his pants for half the fishing trip. It's on Criterion, and definitely worth picking up.

I don't quite understand what the film is about totally, but it looks great. I have to see it I guess:)
My buddy told me about this movie a couple weeks ago. I'm really excited for it. I love how Bill Murray plays himself, yet he is serving coffee. I also love RZA and GZA, funny guys.
i know a short film by jarmusch called "coffee and cigarettes", quite an old one, and from what i saw at the trailer, it was placed as one of the story lines or episodes. it's the one with Roberto Benniny. what i'm not sure is if it was remade for this long version or really edited into... got to see it anyway!!!

Can't wait for this one to get to the UK. It's made up of 11 shorts that Jim has been filming since 1986 (so you are right about having seen the Benigni one before) There's not really a plot as such (hey it's Jarmusch - who cares!) just the link of two or more people enjoying and chatting about coffee and cigarettes.
