Thought I'd come back to dvxuser and make me another dvx film. Here we go.

Production Notes:

August 10th
First Draft Complete.
Thought I'd try writing my own script and see how that goes.

September 16th
Second Draft Complete.
Getting very close to completion so can start pre pro.

October 3rd
Casting & Crewing has begun.
Going quite well so far for casting, crew is slow.

October 12th
Final Draft Completed. Just about all locations are locked. One location to go and one minor actor to go.
Shooting starts Oct 23 & 24!

October 14th
Can't get everything by shoot date or before the deadline. Can't make this fest, but am still shooting it in beginning November. Will update this thread when we start filming and editing. Hopefully I'll get one in time next fest! Later!

Thanks everyone, I actually just finished the 2nd Draft and I think a lot will enjoy this film. I'm extremely excited to make it.

Finishing up the last bit of writing.
Starting pre pro next week.

Casting has begun, cleaning up dialogue and adding more thrill to the script.

I might not be able to do this one. I don't want to rush it in. It's really becoming really hard to secure the other lead actor and plus 3 locations have yet to be locked down.
Going costume shopping tomorrow, I'll see how it all comes through. I do hope I can still make it though.

I know what you mean. I hate to rush things. On the other hand, everything is a work in progress and almost nothing gets made without certain compromises. For me, it's hard to learn new technique without making something.
