I was fortunate enough to spend 2 weeks in Cambodia, if you haven't yet been, go. I had an amazing time and would highly recommend visiting.

Shot on a GH1 at 1080 25p AVCHD patch settings:

-Video bitrate adjustment - 30000000
-Overall bitrate adjustment - 38000000
-Limiting bitrate adjustment - 40000000

About 90% of the shots were done on the stock lens, and I was using a Class 6 SD Card. I didn't want to try too high a setting incase my camera messed up while I was out there and not be able to restore it.

Massive thank you to Vitaliy Kiselev for the firmware modification.

Thanks so much for sharing. This piece made me think of my time in the Dominican Republic. (2 years) I wish I had 1/1000th of the footy that you have here. Very nice!

Nice... I liked the miniaturisation technique used at about 3.37min...

Did you take a camera slider???...

I love when people shoot for "feel and mood" instead of simply being technically correct.

That vid is awesome... really moving and well-done.

Thanks guys, appreciate your comments! It has given me a freakishly big smile on my face!

Lez - I did carry a slider, I managed to squeeze it in my tripod bag. It was a bit of a pain lugging it around in the heat. But I only did it for a day and I'm quite happy with the results.

What did you do for CC? Looks magic bulletish. But but very nice? Is it a specific preset, or something you did? If so, care to share the recipe? =)

Yes I used Magic Bullet, I didn't purely use their presets though, I found some of them too harsh/strong. I usually toned most of them down. A lot of the the shots I only added saturation and played with the exposure levels, I hope that helps.

Great video. What did you use for the time lapse shots?

Hi Lindenberg, thank you! I used an intervalometer, this basically takes stills automatically for you. I could of done it using the video mode, but I was going for the choppy feel. I wanted to do more but I didn't want to piss my girlfriend off too much, she was sat next with me asking "when's it done?!", "how long now?" :cheesy:

Thanks Frosty, you're lucky you got to spent a month there, I don't think 2 weeks was enough. I'm pretty much a beginner too, I'd say a lot of the good shots I got was down to luck. Thanks again for your kind words!
