Just noticing 4 films titled 'Untitled'. We might have to start adding more info to tell them apart.

Untitled Poet's Society
What Lies Untitled
Or in Lawrie's case, Clockwork Untitled

Couple more entries and we'll be up there with West Fest, and still lots of time.
Sad West Fest wasn't more popular. There were some great films that clearly showed ingenuity to pull off. I would argue ingenuity is as important as a good script well interpreted, a good crew (even crews of one), and on down the line.
I think we can safely say that the fluctuating popularity of the various fests are an indicator of what film audiences want to see. Commercially speaking, that seems important. Artistically speaking, meh.
For the record, as a writer I had a blast with West Fest. Two ended up here (one as co-writer with Joe Saba), and two are filiming out there somewhere (one in post), and a few more sitting on my site - skipped over like the not-so-pretty girl at the dance. But oh lord, can she dance!

Yes, curious that.
Writers are scary people. They have voices in their heads a lot.
<No, we don't!>
