hi friends...

I am in dilemma...if i go with xl2
price if you are doing wedding

5000 for camera
800 for wide angle
500 for lavelier mics
500 for tripod
300 for extra battery
300 for filters.etc.

$7400 us for a camera.

if you are making film
if you are going for p+s technik

$10,000.00

if you are going for wild life.
then again
5000 for camera.
2000 for lens
500 for adapter ef

$7500

I am thinking now Unnecessarily i sold my xl1s...thats bad.
now i am in big dilemma.

If I were you, I'd wait for the reviews before investing sooo much money on the XL-2.

But we knew the Xl2 was going to be expensive from the first day we heard of it. Did you sell your Xl1s before or after that.

If those prices are too high, then your answer is simple: NO

If you can afford it then it's simple too: YES

If you're of the "DVX or Xl2" then it's still simple.
- Want the wank factor:Get the Xl2
- Don't care about the wank factor: Get the DVX

If you're from the US you might not get it. It's closest equivalent is
"Masturbatory factor"

I vote that you buy it and then do a bunch of sample footage which you will post on a server for the rest of us to download. :)

didn't you have a tri-pod and battery from your xl1? i kept all my accessories when i sold my XL1...
