I just watched this flick last night. Very well done documentary... reminds me very much of how Bowling for Columbine was organized. For anyone that doesnt know, this movie is about Morgan Spurlock's 1-month "test" eating nothing but mcdonalds. Results are pretty astounding... really makes you think twice about eating a big mac and fries. I give it two thumbs up...way up! * ;D

"Check out the big brain on Brad!"
I have some ladies in my office building thta just eat fast food everyday; and it shows. In the morning they have their big cokes and at lunch they have these huge bags of fries and burgers. From time to time I feel like grubbing but always feel nasty afterwards.
How about those krispy kreme orders? :P Ucky!

Here in Krispy Kreme Kountry, they're everywhere! All I can see when I'm looking at their hot glazed offerings is fat hanging off the sides . . .

Did you check out Inside the Actor's Studio on sunday? with the cast of The Simpsons? Quite good.
But I saw this movie tonight. Definately liked it. Found it funny that the people sitting down the row from me threw out nearly (90%) full jumbo movie size sodas when it was over :)
I wonder what equipment he shot it with? Some of the scenes looked a bit soft to me, but who am I to judge.

D' Oh! I missed the cast of The Simpson's.
I've only seen a trailer of Supersize Me. However, just think of the notoriety he set himself up for by simply trashing his diet for a month and documenting it.
Anyone could have done that. The success, it seems, lies in the distribution deal.

Its always about the distribution deal.
I'd like to think, yea, I coulda thought up Survivor.... what a simple concept. But I didn't, and now Mark Burnett is prolly swimming in cash.
And how about the Girls Gone Wild guy? dang.

I just saw the film this afternoon. INCREDIBLE. I really can't think of any other word to describe how well done I thought this movie was. The only question I would have if anyone knows off the top of their head is how many cameras they had. Someone said they shot on the PD-150, but I don't know if they had just one or if they had a couple around the country to film all of the different interviews. If anyone knows, that's awesome, otherwise, no sweat. If you haven't seen this movie though, go see it.

As far as I know, it was shot with just one pd150, and about 50 DV tapes
"Spurlock's production company, The Con, funded the film, which was shot entirely with a Sony PD150 mini-DV camera"

You are what you eat.
If this is true, then...
... then, the western world is fat, infantile, carnivorous, lethal for the environment and carcinogenic (non-exhaustive list).
You are what you eat. For five years now, I've been trying to feed myself differently... and I end up thinking differently. My food is much better now, so is my silhouette and — I hope — my soul.
If we want to change the world, we've got to change ourselves first.

Bien dit !! "You are what you eat". May be some rather a lot of people just don't look at what they eat everyday, as long as the quantity is Super Size. Even you in France now, you are having big problem. La France profonde doit se réveiller, don't say "cheese" but fromage.
p.s.: En passant cousin, un petit concours pour le meilleur fromage au lait cru. Québec vs La France. Tu pourrais être surpris.
