I highly recommend you read all the detailed hack faqs and threads but this page is probably the easiest and if you follow the instructions exactly you should be fine:

So which settings would you recommend? As I understand it, there has been some development since that webpage was published. Is there an "ideal" setting that would be good for beginners (i.e., high quality but stable)? Just not sure which ones to check off.

Yeah, I realise now the info on Luminous Landscape is quite out of date.
I guess I'll go back to the Ptool manual thread and the Hack for Dummies thread.
Lots and lots of great information here, it can just veer off into confusing tangents at times. Someone says their method of installing the hack works perfectly, then two people reply saying it doesn't. :badputer:
