Ahh that is cool, I still havent went with a camera yet, but if I do want to go big time NTSC Monitor on my side would be the way to go huh. But if you can just get the adaptars, no big thing, I love the way the DVX100a feels in your hands way better than the XL1s and I know XL2 aint gonna feel much different by its looks so far! Its just way too heavy and big!

Thats a good point. I used to thin kthe XL1 was so sexy looking. NOw? I cant even imagine lugging that thing around with my Mattebox and LCD Hood cover :P

yeah, i kinda wished they reworked the body a bit, that design is like 7 years old. i wish it were black.

just like it's little brother, it's got more finer lines and smoother curves. it's all it is. and that clever EYELCDHOODPIECE.

so, im curious if DVX's leica lens contributes mostly to the now well known 'dvx image'-rich colors but bit film-like desaturation. it certainly is different from other mini-dv. Im wondering if canon will have the same look- and whether it be just the lens-since it doesn't have new lens.. does it?- or if it's progressive and 24p that gives that look.

Well, I think that the function giving the DVX its colours would be, it's colour rendition in comparison to other camcorders ;) ;D
