Hi. I am about to buy an XL2 and have heard it is quite front heavy. Is there some sort of battery pack that evens out the weight?
Any info would be much appreciated.
Thanks

I've heard the Anton Bauer batteries that attach over the XLR inputs tend to even it out better, but I wouldn't know the first thing about what kind they are or how much they cost.
I'm sure they have them at B&H or EVS though, so just search Anton Bauer and you'll probably come up with something.
Hey buck, here is what you need. Anton is a bit pricey, mainly due to high quality, but info is always free ;D
QRXL12 is the battery mount for $175
Lithium battery Dionic 90 (lighter, more power, memory free for 5 years) is $427.50
Nickel Metal battery Hytron 50 (heavier, less power) is $260
charger is Titan 70 (has a power supply but charges only one battery) for $488 or titan twin (no supply but charges two batteries simultaneous) for $530

Buck,
I have the Anton Bauer Dionic 90's! These things are the fantastic. Completely evens out the camera and I can shoot for almost 8 hours per battery.
