Has anyone tried the DVRigXL???

Hi all,
I am interested in buying the DVRigXL. I am kinda sad to see that it doesn't have the same handle setup as the DVrigPro. It would be nice to be able to set it down without a tripod or light stand.

I am also curious to know about the tripod mount. Does the XL version also come with the Bogen tripod mount? (I have a large bogen tripod head (can't remember the number) and I have the tripod plate on the bottom of my XL2 at all times. (the plate is about 4" long and about 2.5" wide). I REALLY hope that the XL accepts that bogen plate.

Why not just get the DV rig pro? YOu should still be able to set it up to work with the XL2.

I had considered that, but I figured that there must be some structural concern. *For example, maybe the frame would most naturally cause the XL2 to sit too high, or maybe the XL frame has the support strut farther forward or is more robust to handle the greater weight of the XL2.

There must be some reason why they separated out the XL2 line for a different support system.
