I am about to buy an XL2 but could anyone help me with this?
When i check out in the web, they say i do not have to pay for taxes. Why? Will the gobernment pay them when i receive the post or what?

This is what they said, and i do not understand it.
Hi there
Price is before any tax (NY 8.65%), we don't collect
sales tax ONLY *if shipped out of New York.
B+H does not charge sales tax when we ship an
order out of NYS, the customer is responsible to pay
the sales taxs for the receiving state or import
charges for the country of destination.
Unfortunately we can not offer specific advice on
import fees, customs or taxes that you may be
charged when your merchandise reaches you.
Please consult your local government import office
with any questions regarding this matter.
We can not alter the package or billing invoice in any
way.

what they are saying is that when they ship orders to destinations outside the state of New York they DO NOT charge NEW YORK SALES TAX.
BUT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CUSTOMS CHARGES OR LOCAL TAXES THAT MAY APPLY WHEN YOU RECEIVE IT.
Since you are in Spain you would have to pay any duty, VAT or other taxes when you receive the camera in Spain.

You shouldn't have to pay any tax if it's going to Florida, even if your credit card company is on Mars. Now if it's in a business name you may have to whenever you pay your biz tax. I live in NYC and have stuff shipped to Jersey all the time when the taxes become exorbenant (or however you spell it). $15 in gas and tolls sure beats $350 in taxes.

LOL. ;D
So, sending to me as a person to florida means no taxes to pay. Great!
