Has anyone found a reliable and good mic mount that extends a bit further then the original Panasonic mount does.
I have a Beyerdynamic MCE 86 shotgun mic attached to my DVX (Thought I should mentioned here because this mic doesn't seem to be much discussed here as a good option: www.beyerdynamic.com/com/product/ pdf-datasheet/mce86.pdf -). I have the best experience with this mic.
The thing is that in a low noise enviroment it does pick up some of the DVX's zoom motor noise that I would so much like to be without. Has anyone found a good mic extension that stretches a bit further away from the camera. Hopefully something that doesn't put it 30cm straight up from but rather at a 45 degree angle to the right from the camera.
