where to clip the wireless receivers??

I've always just hung the receiver off of the soft handle strap on the right side of the camera... my next gig involves using two wireless lavs most of the time, and I wonder if clipping two receivers to that area will be awkward or even make the camera side heavy...

is there any smarter way to make the receivers more seemlessly part of the camera? some sort of after market harness or something...?

There are a couple of different mounting brackets out there available for this. Some mount on the hot shoe of the camera, and some use the tripod hole on the bottom.

I mount mine in a little case with a strap to the rods system so it hangs under the lens
