My wife and kids have been in Indonesia for the last several weeks. My wife's father has been ill due primarily to liver failure from Hepatitis.

His last wish was to go home, so they took him home to Jatibarang by ambulance about 2.5 hour drive yesterday. He got home, talked to his 7 children, talked to my kids, talked to his friends on the phone and then passed on the same night.

RIP

amazing how people can choose their time (relatively speaking) in the end.... his only son was on the way and he waited for him to show up so he could speak with him. died 30 minutes later on his own terms after he got to talk to all the people he wanted to talk to....

My thoughts are with you and your wife's family as they go through this difficult time. Fortunately he was surrounded by loved ones when he passed.

Sorry to hear it, but it's heartening that he got to 'wrap out' on his own terms.
