A student film out of UCR. I play a DEA agent chasing "coyotes" (way out in the desert, 30 miles north of Victorville (I spilled the beans and shared my favorite film location with them)). I hit my marks and lines perfectly, got do some stunt driving, and coordinated a couple of fight/stunt scenes. Personally thanked by the other actors for the coordination, and possible future work headed my way.
Ahh, other than the killer sunburn, a GREAT day.

Apparently, either not high enough SPF, or applied too late. I look like a cross between a "reverse" raccoon (sunglasses) and a lobster. But thanks. When a role fits you like a glove, the confdence you have is a great feeling.
The 2 tall cans of Budweiser may be contributing to that. But, it's for medicinal purposes, I swear. I feel like I am on fire right now.

Oh Doc, I hate that. I got a way to treat sunburn, but is it tough (Trust me, I spent 20 years a a Paramedic). For pain a NSAID, like Ibuprofen, is good. To limit the damage and lessen the severity of a sunburn, what I have done for a long time is take regular bath towels and soak them in water. Ring them out and freeze them. When the towels are frozen, I then take them and place them on the sunburned area until they have warmed up and the sunburn pain is starting to return. Then repeat with a fresh towel. Continue that process over and over until the sunburn stops hurting. It is tough, but it works. It shortens the time it takes to recover from a sunburn, and limits the damage of the sunburn (blistering, ect.). That is burn treatment 101... first, stop the burning process, second, draw the heat from the burn. Good luck.

Well, pain not so bad today. But all day it felt like 90 degrees, when it maybe hit 65. So, it kept me warm.
But sooooooooo worth it. Still ridin' the high. In too good of a mood. Tragedy must be around the corner.

They are shooting for a month from now, to come out of post. I hope sooner, but who knows.
But it will be good. I had the chance to direct a scene, and recommend a shot nobody thought of (inside the chase vehicle). I try to keep to my job/s on set, but try to make helpful hints when I feel they won't piss people off or step on anyone's toes. Told the Director, whom I know well, "Okay, I filled in for your slack, so I am thinking......2nd Unit Director?????" LOL, not that I really want that credit.
This will help the ol' resume and reel. It better, LOL.
