Still trying to find the most convenient and reliable on-camera light. Frezzi has been brought to my attention but I've also found Paglight C6. http://www.paguk.com/c6/. I have seen this brand used a lot by professionals here but only the bigger versions of their lights.

This C6 version seems to be well built with a variety of possibilities in using it. The kit that they offers includes filters and a softener which I'd find use for.

Does anyone have any experience in using this light, either positive or negative. How does it compare to the Frezzi Microfill for example?

Thanks in advance

I've got the Paglight C6, it's a dang awesome light. Was recommended by Samy's in LA, and so far I have no complaints. It's small, bright, battery lasts 3-4 hours. It has a filter for daylight and tungsten. Best of all, the light runs really, really cool. You can touch and not even know that it's on. I don't have experience with the other lights, but even though I was at first reluctant to dish out $300-400 for a video light, in the end, you get what you pay for.

Call EVS they carry them! Ask for Rush. It is there best seller. I'm this close to buying one myself. I've been told you could even rig it to a light stand to get a better angle on your subject. The only down side is the 3-4 hours on the battery. When it is used up you have to take the time to recharge it. 8)

Thanks Elvis.
Here is a direct link to their site: http://pagusa.com/paglightc6.htm

I own the light myself, and its true that I had to purchase multiple batteries to keep it going for 8 whole hrs., but boy, the most important thing is that I never have to wear another battery belt. You can reach me at 800-238-8480
