Up in Toronto checking out the film fest and saw a God awful film" The Libertine" starring Johnny Depp and John Malkovich. Half the row I was in left before it was over. Bad everything in this one. How do you make a film with Mr Depp playing a lust obsessed man and there's no and I mean not even a scintilla of sexual chemistry anywhere? Easy; a who gives a shit story, unempathatic (is that a word?) characters and limp direction.
