Hi folks, I've bummed around for a couple years and recently helped out on a few fest entries. I thought I would try my hand at one. I have no idea if I'll have the time and resources to shoot this but I'm gonna give it a shot.

Working Title:
"Bullet Time"

Premis:
A bitter gunslinger's true character is drawn out when he agrees to help an old man in a predicament.
(Yes, it's a thin premise, but I don't feel like giving much away at the moment)

Saw the West Fest tweet and though, hey that's neet. What would I do If I were to enter that.

Hey Rodney, thanks! I still don't know how this is going to happen but I'm doing what I can with what I've got. Here's some Concept Matte Art I made for the project.

That is some awesome art, like the dark, cold feel it has.

Thanks guys. I'm starting to wonder if it's gonna be live action. Lol. I am not sure I'll have the time for that. We shall see.

Was just looking through your thread, that matte image is a good idea. I hadn't really considered that.

I wonder how many digital matte artists we have around these parts. Sure could use one for my entry.

That would be cool to see about any matte artsits here. I know I'd like to learn more. I'm trying to study the art a bit as it seems to cater to my style.

As you can guess I didn't get a chance to finish the movie though. :violin: I'm currently traveling. BUT I did learn a lot about matte painting in the process. I hope to use it well in future films.

p.s. thanks for all the kind encouragement.
