My mistake, I used to work on 25th st and had the same view, been a while.
I like your style. You should cut some test commercials with your footage and take it around town to some ad agencies. Not an easy road, but can pay off big if you get some projects. Go over to the Concept Farm on 24th st. They shoot a lot of funky spots for ESPN.

How would one go about this? Cut a couple of test commercials and then what's the next step? I guess you're offering yourself as a freelance production crew and then when they get a project they hire you to film it? Just curious.

How would one go about this?

Cut your reel and start knocking on doors. It's not easy but one thing leads to another and you will find work if you don't give up.
