This camera on a nice rig could finally justify the purchase of a VDSLR for me...
On the other hand, when getting a 5D you also get THE nicest portrait/all around FF DSLR at the moment, hmm...

Christian, if this is not a cinema camera then I have no idea what I did in 4 years at the filmschool ;-)

Peace,

Well, right know any well shot and edited footage comming from a spanking new camera at this pricetag, is AMAZING (at least for me...)
Have seen a lot worse here coming from cameras 10 times the price...

Wait, thatīs A M A Z I N G !

hehe ,yeah price for such camera is amazing too,ill get one soon.Good times for filmmakers ,5 years ago you wouldnt even dream about cam with filmic depth of field with manual shutter and HD recording for this money.Even dvx cams are more expensive and theyre SD and without 60p.

Thing is cheaper than a lot of 35mm adapters.

This footage is really disturbing being a 5d owner. I get better stills and full sensor...whoopee.

A-mazing!
Natural set design as in natural lighting!
The 550 would be sth "I just would get, for the sake of it", but I guess youīre also waiting for NAB, Emanuel?:cheesy:

Canon is a winner for now. IMO, the traditional video brands (Sony, Panasonic, etc) are losing the indie market on budget for these HD-DSLR and ILDC devices. GH1 is a no-brainer as well.
