Not yet sure why you'd want to convert MXF to MXF but I tried out the demo anyway.
I did noticed though, that a 1920 x 1080 MXF recorded @ 25 fps would convert to, once imported into after effects, a squarish 1280 x 1080 MXF @ 24 fps !
My composition settings were 1920 x 1080 (16:9) @ 25fps, so I don't understand why it would do this. I had to individually resize every MXF clip to fit the 1920 x 1080 composition window, but all the clips were now @ 24fps.

Any ideas?

Raylight is meant for FCP users who want to access MXF directly in FCP and in QuickTime. If you're working in say Premiere or Avid it's not needed.

Raylight for MAC allows access of MXF clips directly in FCP and in QuickTime.

Raylight Ultra for Windows includes a plugin for Sony Vegas allowing direct access of MXF clips.

Raylight MXFX2 is seperate Windows product supporting various conversions. From the DVFilm support blog (http://raylightsupport.blogspot.com/2009/12/raylight-mxfx-2-released.html):

MXFX 2 has been released, a major revision of the MXFX program
with literally hundreds of new conversions possible. AVC-Intra is
supported for pulldown removal and you can convert AVC-Intra to
other HD and even to SD formats. New features include:

- Pulldown removal for HPG-20 AVC-Intra MXF files
- Add pulldown from any AVC-Intra MXF file
- Can create a full P2 Contents folder from a bare MXF file
- Conversion from all AVC-Intra formats to DVCPROHD or other formats
- SD to HD and HD to SD conversion
- 24P to 25P as well as 25P to 24P (or NTSC) conversion

Does Raylight for Mac support AVC-Intra? I'm trying to read mxf footage from P2 cards in Final Cut Pro and confused as to whether I should be looking at that product or MXFX2 for Mac...

The Raylight for Mac website only mentions DVCPROHD, so just curious... going to test tomorrow with the demo but would appreciate any feedback.

Raylight for Mac will be updated in the near future to support AVC-Intra. The current version does not support AVC-Intra.
