Tough one. It honestly might be easier to have a few seconds of the end of your video transfered to 16mm and run it through the projector, shooting video off the wall.
The only way I can think to do it is scan a strip of 35mm leader (or have someone very artistic design one in Photoshop), composite still frames into the individual film frames & play with your postition keyframes. The wiggler should help, as well as motion blur. Recreating the glow and flicker of the projector bulb might be tough (pure white won't work--needs to be off-white/yellowish with quick, subtle shifts in transparency).

if all else fails, you can try Artbeats new "Film Clutter" collection. I'm pretty sure I saw what you're talking about.
;D
or adobe's "edit effects" collection has those on there...

or go to a telecine(film to video transfer facility) and see if they can put up some Black exposed leader and slowly take it off the scanner as it is recorded to tape. I have done this and it works well.

Create the film strip with frames & pref holes on Photoshop, animate as needed in AE with matching keyframed video in the frames.

Just wondering who makes that matte box on your icon. I saw it before in an ad but can't remember where. I'm finally getting a DVX to go with my VX2K. Thanx.
That's a Cavision 4x4 bellows box.
