View Full Version : From FCP to AE Color Change

I am working on a spot, edited in FCP added a blue tint, looks great on NTSC monitor. Bring footage into AE the Blue tint is literally gone. Is this normal. My Computer monitor is pretty good an old SGI/Sony monitor.
Advice?

Are you viewing you AfterEffects output on an NTSC?
Also, are you importing into AE the file you exported from final cut (with the color tint intact), or your original source footage file?

i am not viewing my AE work on a NTSC monitor as I don't have the plugin that does that...I think i will burn a DVD to see how that will look...as I guess that is my best option.
Yes i am exporting file from FCP with CC intact...thanx Kai.

AE 6.5 upgrade has FireWire output capability built in, among a ton of other great features--I would strongly recommend it.
