Apple's Motion eh?

So, I hope this isnt the wrong forum to post this but its as close as it can get.


I was just wondering how many of you have it and used it and your opinions on it? And how does it stack up against adobe

Motion has yet to be released by Apple.

I have a few hours time on it. It's pretty impressive, considering the cost. The "Behaviors" concept is incredible, and is definitely the wave of the future of motion graphics.

Motion is definitely not meant to be a replacement for AE or Combustion, as it is definitely lacking the depth of those programs. I would highly recommend it as a tool for creating quick title sequences and transitions. More than anything, it's worth the $300 just to save the keyframing and rendering time for those types of simple projects.

I wouldn't expect it to be officially released anytime before mid-late August--it was still fairly buggy when I used it.
