Blown out renders from AE????

I recently purchased a DVX100A and I am comping the first test footage. I noticed that when I render with compression set to NONE, and drop the render back in to FCP, the image is all blown out; like the brightness go turned way up.
I also tried the "FCP Uncompressed BlackMagic" codec. This also affected the image by making it slightly more blue.
both settings crushed the effect of the Cine-Gamma settings that gives me the picture that I love.
Any advice on how I could keep this from happening?

when you render in AE or FCP be sure to set the codec or output mode to Quicktime NTSC DV/DVCPRO-NTSC frame rate depends on if your going or already did remove the pulldown-Quality @ best-and make sure you check the audio check box.
