Hi,
Is there a way to render in mpeg VBR2 pass with After Effect. I see that with the version 6.5 we can render in vbr but it seems only in 1 pass. From my experiences using 2 pass increases the quality and it's usually a common feature in mpeg encoders. You find it in premiere and encore dvd.
So did I miss something in the render dialog box? Is there a plugins which allow to do that directly from after Effect.
Now I'm rendering in quicktime animation and encode my mpeg 2 in sorenson squeeze. But it would be nice to skip that step. And quicktime animation take so much hard drive space it's not suitable for big projects.
So how are you working with project over 10 minutes in after effect to be able to create mpeg 2???
