I've just got Apple Motion and had no problem installing it on my g5 at work. However when i tried to install it on my 17 inch 1ghz G4 powerbook at home it said it didnt meet the minumum graphics card requirements.
So I phoned around a bit and have been told that basically i'm screwed - in the earlier 1gig powerbook theres a fixed 9000 radeon graphics card(as with most of the g4's, except the last range) and the requirement is a 9600 graphics card....of course...

So be warned dont lash out money for motion until you've checked ya mac specs out.

Hopefully apple will release some sort of download that will allow me to use moion on my pewerbook at home... but until then nada/niks/zip

Anyone found any solutions?

Sounds like time for an upgrade, mac style, trash the powerbook and buy a new one....

In all honesty have had so many problems with my G5 that on the whole i'd rather bin my G5 than my powerbook...
