Final cut studio has no P2 import? eh!

Hey guys and gals

I have just purchased Final cut studio 2 and when I look in the file import menu there is no P2 option......


HELP PLEASE.......

What am I missing? probably another upgrade!!!!!

Check out "Log and Transfer" under the file menu. Should be right around "Log and Capture". Capture is for tape, Transfer is for cards.

Hey dude

You just beat me to it. I found it a minute ago.

Any ideas why mac removed the P2 option on the menu? I guess to make it more generic!!

Probably to make it look less vendor specific and more unified. Just about all camera formats are ingested through log and transfer since FCP 6 or so...
