Hi everyone,

I've been searching on the forums and I haven't been able to find the answer, so here goes. I finished a short film recently and had a band play in a bar sequence. The band leader did me a huge favor by hooking me up with the owner of the bar and letting me shoot there, so I shot a bunch of footage of his band so he could edit a music video out of it.

Here's the problem, he's got a Macbook pro, but only Motion to edit with. So, how should I encode the mxf files to deliver to him so he can see them and edit them? (I've haven't used Motion much and I'm not sure that he can even edit the files with it.)

BTW: We shot the film on the HVX and HPX170 using P2 workflow.

Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated!

best,
Jonathan

Export as QuickTime DVCPROHD .MOV files from FCP. And how on earth does someone only have Motion and consider it to be an editing program? Oh to be in a band...
