View Full Version : Shockmount for DVX and boompole.

Which shockmount(s) would ya'll recommend. I'd like something I could swap back and forth easily. I don't have my DVX yet but was told the lens can be noisy, so one concern is keeping the mic far enough away when camera -mounted. Mic is me66.

I'll try to avoid it as much as possible but there will be one-man run and gun situations where I don't see another option.

The actuall built in mount is pretty good, just get your shotgun as far infront of the lens as possible without it getting in the shot.

Yeah - I haven't noticed any camera noise using my Azden SGM-1X when mounted in the stock on camera mount. The Panasonic mount seems to do a pretty good job isolating the mic.
