fce4 log & transfer settings?

Ok to I primarily shoot in 1280x720 60p SHD which is AVCHD. I log & transfer from my GH1 to FCE4. My question is the file converted to and what are its settings. I'm asking this because I am wondering I can log & transfer in using FCE4 but use that video file to import into a specific timeline line in FCP.

If you edit in FCP then you can use log and transfer in FCP to convert to ProRes422 or ProRes Lite. As far as I know Final Cut Express can't import/convert AVCHD files, iMovie can.
