hey bob.. your Fedex tracking # is 278062810000105. We switched from Canada Post (morons) to Fedex at the beggining of last week so there was a little delay as the accounts got setup.
I learned really quick how crappy canadapost is and I've never had a problem with Fedex; that is probally why they are still number #1.Your batteries should be there this week for sure.
and Madcow, yes we still got lots left :)

I'll be ordering one or two next week after I get paid. I live in Maryland, how long do you think it will take to ship here?

via Fedex Regular it usually takes about a week. We can send it faster if need be though.

The first 2 batts I ordered are working great, which is good since my panasonic branded batteries are already flaking out.

I bought 3 last month - for the price of 1 panasonic lower capacity cell. They saved my ass when I was in colorado shooting in the middle of yaya-ville. I never use the TFT ( ARRI habits die hard) so the batteries last me a good 4 hours. Thank you Zoom Zoom Zoom for giving us such a good deal.
So far they seem to work fine, if they blow up my house at least I know where you live and will be crashing on your couch.
One question, what does the little red switch on the back do?

"what does the little red switch on the back do?"
Do not flip the switch!!!!! It'll double the voltage output and fry your camera!!!!!!! Make sure it's up position (or is it the down?).
Lol! Actually, it does nothing. I think it's there so you can keep track of fresh batteries better. But you'll need to work out a system. I try to use it every now and then, after a charge I'll put it in the up position, then after I drain it I'll put it down position until I recharge it. I guess it's a poor man's on battery voltage meter :)

Yes.. Sir Allen is right. Its just a reminder... flick it to red when its dead.
I however, I*dont use it, past training as a camera assistant taught me a different system, which I mark dead batteries with a piece of 1/4" red camera tape and throw them in the battery box... Basically the same thing but just a different way of doing it.

Are these batteries still available? Also, how long will it take to get it since I live in the most southern part of the US (Brownsville, TX).

Hey yes we got them still, and we ship fedex so depending on how much you wanna pay for shipping they can get there overnight. The standard Fedex ground is about a week though ($13).

I just want to let everybody know what to expect as far as the ordering process goes. I placed my order on Friday, Nov. 14th, received a confirmation within a couple of hours (stating the package would go out the next week). Sure enough, they arrived perfectly packaged this afternoon - exactly one week from placing my order. They look great and the first one is on the charger right now.
Thank you Zoomforce for the great service and for a super reasonably priced battery. I'll post something by next week about how they seem to perform on the camera.

One the batteries back has peeled off! I'm going to try and crazy glue it back together. The manufacturer did a pretty decent job of making them look like the Panasonic batteries, but there is still a cheapy feel to them. The plastic is not as strong as the authentic ones but hey, what do you expect for 35 bucks?

Hey I bought 6 cells as well and they came quick, although I did email Jarred and ask pay for overnight fedex. I used them in a 15 day production at the start of November, and cycled between the cells for 12 hours a day between 2 cameras. I was surprised how well they stood up, It was a torture test.
I did drop one onto cement from 6' and the back popped open a crack, but I just squeezed it together and it's back to normal. I think they are not bonded but are rather a compression snap.
Above and beyond, I ended up paying $200 for batteries instead of $700 and that extra $500 went into a nice light kit.
Thank you Jarred and all you others around here that make DVXUSER a grooovey place to be. The forum saved my lily white ass a few times when I had some questions.

you mean the sticker?
No... the main plastic back. It does snap back on but easily comes apart again. I also find the batteries slightly fatter making them a little difficult to mount and dismount.

No problems here, they last longer than my Panasonic OEM batteries and I have no back breaking problems. I will order more when I need more.

The Batteries ROCK!!! They last long and are very dependable on long shoots. Evem more dependable than the standard Panny batteries. And at $35 bucks, why would you even complain, they're GREAT!!! ;D
