Is that a suction cup?

Oh my god! *I dont know if I could put my faith in a suction cup. *You should at least tie some nylon rope (1/2 inch diameter) to the handle and run it securely into the cars window.

Basically, pull it taught and roll up window till it securley pinches the line. *Have knots tied on the end between window and outside to further keep line from slipping. You never know.

im not that stupid or rich.... I just put it on there to take the photo ha ha.. As with any locked off mounting, safety straps/cables are always in order.

If I was doing something really stupid I would probally mount 3 more cups on the support legs.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone put a windscreen over the on-board microphone before.

I don't think I've ever used it, except for just messing around and experimenting with scene files, compositions, etc., where the sound didn't mean anything.

FilmTools in Burbank, CA has some really cool (and reasonably priced) car mounts.

Ha ha.. Filmtools is what actually inspired me to go out and get one.. I was gonna order it from them but they have a tight ass policy where then need to call banks etc for non us credit cards.
