pana anamorphic adapter

Hi guys,

Just bought my dvx100a and a pana anamorphic adapter... Put it on per the instructions and things were fine; when I tried to remove it (loosen the screw and twist the adapter off), it won't come off. I mean it spins around, but the damn thing won't come off!

Please help me out guys. I just got this thing and I'm in trouble already. Am I the only idiot trying to get this stupid thing off?

When I spend $800 on leica, I get quality. This panasonic plastic adapter won't even dismount correctly! What am I paying for? ???

first off.. the ana adapter is a piece of garbage that just happens to take some good footage. Can't believe it made it past Quality Control.

second, your doing it wrong. You gotta tighten the screw to take it off.

Think of it like putting a large peanut butter lid onto a slightly smaller peanut butter lid and then screwing both onto a jar.. if you spin the big lid the little one wont move.. you gotta screw the big lid into the little lid to grip the little lid to remove it. Man that was a lame analogy.
