I'm going to be shooting a documentary that is close to the heart over the next year +. After some research, I've chosen the DVX100 camera as my best choice. Now the question is (taking budget into consideration, I'll buy used when I can):
WHAT ELSE DO I NEED?
The kicker... I'll be (usually) a one-man crew. There will be significant shooting hours and I'll do most of it alone, outdoors. There will also be some indoor, interviews. I already have a high quality Bogen Tripod, albeit with a still-camera style head.
Do I need a shotgun mic? Is a wireless a must-have for interviews? An anomorphic lens? What filters?
I know it's a lot to ask, but I appreciate those who can take the time.
Thanks,
Chris
