Here's some new footage from a project I am very happy to have going.

I've been a long time lurker, first time poster. Many invaluable discussions and insights on this forum. Thanks for that.

Check it out.

Perspectives #2 - Night

Check out our website as well. http://dendritestudios.com (http://dendritestudios.com/)

Finally I have searched but cannot find out how to do it...how to I edit my signature? Can't find a signature edit page anywhere in the usercp. I must be blind.

Slow motion looks great. What did you use to light the skiers out there?

I rarely post to say I like stuff, but this has some really nice images - the slow pan across the speeded up workshop windows, and good closeups of the processes all fit really well.

I too am intrigued by the night shots - care to share equipment and technique?

All of the night skiing stuff was lit with a snowcat, which made it very limiting as to where we could place the light source, but it was effective.
Camera was a 7D and we had a jib arm out there as well.

Slow pan was was with a meade telescope head which was great while it lasted. Already broke on us.

Love the pans, and excellent idea to use the telescope head! Cudos on that and the use of the head as well. Loved the ones from the top! Also loved the lights at night. I hope you got lots of that. Night skiing way out there is something else. Cudos on getting that sort of material. The The final still on #3 is stunning. POV cameras are lots of fun, and THAT is one EXCELLENT subject! HAHA loved it.

Hope to see more. Looks like boat loads of fun!

how to I edit my signature?

the onboard - canon - or GoPro ?

Onboard is the GoPro. The athletes crash way too much to ever put a full rig on them. Simple pow turns maybe.

Sam, my never ending list of purchases is well, never ending. Oh the things I could do with certain gear. But we are making do with a non-existent budget. Damn I'd love some budget.
Here's the newest vid. Perspectives #6 - Ten Years. Enjoy!

Amazing night slow motion shots. My only comment is that I'd like to see more.

Yeah, I don't have time watch all the vids, but the night one was great.

Wether it was or not...it looks ambitious. It's one thing to shoot a nighttime ski jump contest or whatever with available light, but you've created the image in my mind that you guys were way the "f" out in the middle of nowhere filming those powder scenes.

Looks good.
