I recently bought one of these http://opteka.com/images/products/detail/XGRIP_HR2.jpg to film skateboarding/BMX it works pretty good with a fisheye, the only problem is that you cant see the screen very good, i was thinking about buying this http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/570598-REG/Delvcam_V2500_V2500_2_5_Color_LCD.html#reviews to put where the hotshoe mount for the light is on the top of the handle, has anyone ever used these? would it work good with the D90? i dont really want to spend more than 100-150 bucks... i just one something so i can film a bit lower and not have to look at the screen at an awkward angle.

Thanks!

I've used the LCD4Video monitor setup with my D90, and though it's not a very high-end LCD, it's great for things like cranes. You can get a 7" setup for $200-$260, and you can use it with a wide variety of video gear (google it & check their eBay store). They include a choice of battery mounts, so if you have, say, a DVX, you can use panny batteries for the monitor - pretty handy. You can also choose wide or regular aspect ratios, flip functions, etc.

That little delvcam could be useful, but you'll need to outfit it with batteries, connectors, a hot shoe, etc., and it may not have aspect ratio correction.
