Hey guys,

I've been asked to perform a camera test of three small DV cameras to compare various traits under differing lighting conditions. I'd like to shoot the setups simultaniously so that each is exactly the same...

Does anyone know of an adapter, or mounting plate that will accommodate three cameras onto the same tripod head? I saw that Bogen has a plate that adapts two cameras onto a bar mounted on the center to an adapter plate...but I'd like to also have a camera mounted center in addition to the left and right mounts...there will be some tilting and panning involved.

I'd like to find a ready made solution, so I don't have to have to bother with the metal shop.

Any help would be grand!

thanks.

Go to home depot and ask someone if they know how to do something like that. Most of those guys there, have hobbies of tinkering and creating new gadgets.

Good Luck ;)

also you can buy tripods heads to fit on your tripod from samy's camera in hollywood. If you're not in LA, call and order over the phone or online.

the homedepot was a good start. Go there and buy a square aluminum pipe. at least 1" in diameter. Buy some 1/2" 1/4x20 machine bolts and some rubber washers well your in that same area. Drill a hole every 10" or so in the pipe and use the bolts to attatch the cameras. If you dont have a tap, by one 3/8" (1/4" is too light for 3 cameras) and use the tap to tap a thread for the tripod head to attatch via the 3/8" screw.
