35mm Lens for DVX100?

Hey Guys,

To start, I'm sorry if this topic has been brought up and passed over before, if that's so, someone please just point me in the direction of that post.

My friend has been telling me that there is a 35mm lens adapter for the DVX100 so that your image can look just that much more like film. Is this true? Does such a thing exist? Again, sorry if this is a redundant post, but I haven't seen anything on one in the past.

It does exist, it's quite expensive ($8500) and it works magnificently well. Search the posts for "mini35" and you should find my report on using it. Jarred is also working on a review of it for this site.

People are also trying to make their own homemade version, but with mixed success so far. I don't know if anyone has successfully attached a homemade "mini35"-type adapter to a DVX100 yet.
