Hello Forum,
I am a new user and new Hmc 40 owner. Just wanted to say hello and I am looking forward to using my new camera and talking to members of this forum.

Welcome to the forum, you'll find all sorts of tips, ideas, videos, and other things here.
My first suggestion is if you don't have one, set up a VIMEO account, you can have a free account or if you want more, pay for extra features. VIMEO is a common way for users to share their videos in HD.

I'm a big proponent of DIY video hosting. It's the only way to put real HD on the web, and nowadays it's very affordable. You can get reliable hosting, with gobs of space and unlimited bandwidth for under $10/mo, and Flow Player is free. (x264 is an excellent quality H264 encoder, and is free as well.)
