ok, so i DL footage on my HD via Log and Capture. Saved my footage, and named my project file. Next day i boot up my HD.. I see my HVX footage and i also see two clips (non hvx footage) that have that red mark over them. Again. these clips are not HVX footage (thank god). Clips were captured from SonyVX2100 (SD footage). Files with the red marks are labeled Sony Cam Intro 2 and Sony Cam Intro 3. When i try to reconnect the files i can not find the files. What gives? As i search my external HD (thats where my footage is) to reconnect the clips i see a matching files but with an -a next to it like this: Sony Cam Intro 2-a and Sony Cam Intro 3-a. i click connect and nothing happens. Why?
I also tried playing the lost clips from my browser and i only hear the audio. Am i doomed?? What happened to my video files? If i can play the files from my browser and only hear the audio then the video part has to be on my HD,,, right???
I cant re-import the original files from the Sony tapes as they have gone bad since.
Has anyone experienced this before? Need help. thanks in advance.
