Hi guys, this question relates to the Canon 7D but since it involves a Nikon lens I thought it'd be better to ask this question here, as I'd like to hear the opinions of other Nikon users. I'm pretty keen on getting the 7D, but my lens is a DX (17-55 f/2.8 Nikkor). And I understand that if I used an adapter I'd lose the ability to adjust my aperture. I was wondering if you guys think in the near future someone will release an adapter that rectifies this problem? Or if there might be any right now I'm not aware of.

Or perhaps I should sell the lens? I'd like your suggestions on whether it would be worth it to keep the lens, just in case. And I'd also like to ask what price you think I could sell the lens for, it's in excellent condition. Looking forward to hearing your opinions.

I doubt that you will see properly-coupled adaptors, if they are not here by now. For me, it depends on what you are shooting. If it is not action, but studio-like stuff, then adjusting aperture by hand is easy. I prefer to do it.

As for selling, check Ebay, the bottom line on prices as far as I know. No one will give you as much as you can sell an item for on Ebay, like: if you trade it in or sell it to KEH or B&H.
