Hi,
Don't know if this has been posted already, but a member over at Four Thirds User posted a link to bestbatt.com, who are advertising a third party battery that is compatible with the latest firmware upgrade. I haven't tried this yet, so I don't know if it 100% legit, but I presume it is.

Anyway, it sounds like good news that there is finally an alternative available.

Hate to bust anyone's balls, but just get the real battery.

People sell them on ebay for $30-$35 new, I missed an auction for one on my watch list :(

It's not that pricey and worth it to know your firmware won't brick it or it won't explode.

B&H now sell in 46$

In my opinion, getting an 1500$ camera, before any adding of lens or flash, and saving 20$ on battery, is not worthy at all.
