Hey folks, at this time I'm not planning on entering Betrayal fest, as I'm currently working on doing my first comedic piece, which won't really be fitting the theme...

But, I'm looking to do more in front of the camera in other people's works, so if you've got any roles you feel could be a fit, I'd look forward to talking & possibly collaborating. Most recent project I was able to perform in, THE TELL (MonsterFest), took 5th place, thanks to a talented production team.

Also, if you need assistance behind the camera with crew, I'm open to discussions there as well!

Also have a complete 12 foot Kessler Crane package that I'll rent CHEAP for your production use!

Hey Norm, I wish you were closer to LA or I was closer to Portland. I'd love to work on a project together...

Norm, I am sad that you won't be doing an entry for this festival but I have to admit- I am really looking forward to you doing a comedy and I can't wait to see it once it's finished!

Well, never know ... could pull out something, but it'd have to be DARN creative, and someone else would have to write it. I just know that with BetrayalFest I would once again go dramatic/dark with it, and I want to explore other genres like comedy, romance, and action.

Otherwise, hopefully by not entering this particular one myself as a filmmaker, it frees me up to be in a few different projects with other locals. :)

And thanks, Tom. Someday. :)

Okay, I'm going to officially be in BetrayalFest now. Will open a thread for it in a little while. Have been approached to direct a film for someone else who wrote the script (really like it, and much lighter fare than my usual), and is going to co-produce & DP it.

Still open to act in anyone else's film, if they need/want! :)

If someone cast you for acting, please remind them that it's a DVXFest tradition that you have to appear shirtless at least once in any DVXFest film you're in.

Ahem ... now usually doesn't the word "tradition" make one think that something has happened more than once?? I will never live down Where Silence Falls, but that's the only time it happened ... sure, you dudes keep begging for more (which I can't even begin to comment on how disturbing that is), but I'm getting too old to go shirtless now. :)
