I got the 7D with kit lens and am looking for one standard prime - I'd like to get a 35mm so it's roughly a 50 on the 7D and don't want to spend crazy amounts of money - would something like this be a good choice for circa $300: http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Reviews/Canon-EF-35mm-f-2.0-Lens-Review.aspx

Thanks!

If you don't care about autofocus, then you can get an old Olympus OM 35mm f/2.0 for less than $200. I have one of these.

Same price for Nikon AIS: http://www.keh.com/Product-Details/1/NK060000135000/NK06/FE.aspx

Even more amazing deal for a pre-AI Nikon: http://www.keh.com/Product-Details/1/NK069990218350/NK06/FE.aspx

How do you like the Olympus lenses on the 7D? I have a good collection of OM lenses I'd like to use for controlled work situations. I've mostly worked with manual focus cameras which I like better in a lot of situations.
