Hey guys! Just posted a new online film... shot on the canon 7D with the stock lens on and no extra accesories... enjoy! This was done as a test just to show what can be acheived with just the bare camera.

Very nice, what did you use for sound? Thanks again for sharing this stuff with us.

Makes me want a 7d even more now.

Sorry guys. I was away on another shoot. The sound was recorded seperately on a compeltely different system. Has nothing to do with the Canon 7D...the sound is one of the horrible things about this camera. There's no manual controls or anything regarding sound.

We used one NTG-2 shotgun mic that was run through some kinda of a mixing board and into a portable digital recorder... sorry im not a sound guy so that's all i know. The mic i know is the RODE NTG-2 its pretty small and light for a shotgun mic. plus it had the sound blimp or whatever you call that wind protection thing on it cuz it was a pretty windy day and we were close to a lake. but suprisingly not even one take was ruined by it. On the other hand all the sound that was recorded by the canon 7D however was horrible. I could barely hear anything, each time a little wind picked up it was all noise.

Glad you enjoyed the video! We're acutaly planning to shoot two more funny internet videos like that real soon. I'll let you know when it happens.

Wow, nice clip, nice script and well directed! Itīs as good as the best episodes from My name is earl.

If only the actors were closer to their according acting (kids younger, parents older).

From tech point:
- overstaturaded colors
- blacks a bit too crushed in her hair
- skins are near clipping in the last shots
- Shutter speed is way too fast, and itīs distracting.

Ahh...that's the only thing that bugged me. I thought it was executed well and had a great script...but everyone looked the same age.
