I would definitely go with the 16x9 lens. I personally own it for the hvx200, and my friend has one for the dvx100. they both look great. Before buying, I also went and talked to the head of 16x9, who had worked previously at Century, and he let me try the Century lens. Frankly, it just lost color and fullness, and the distortion seemed 'off'. So now, having this experience, if I were in your position again, I would definitely go 16x9.

I appreciate the response bro..only thing is I havent seen any footage of the 16x9 inc on anything but skater videos.. I was hoping someone here shot footage other than skater videos (like a music video maybe) so I can compare them.. The century was used on a dvxuser's video (jay rodriguez ) and it looked pretty nice to me.. and people I have talked to say , "get the century" and so far, I gotta admit, I was leaning that way but the 16x9 inc intrigued me enough to ask around and see if there was side by sides to compare..

still looking..but appreciate the vote!
